We are excited to announce the official launch of the Sales and Service Safety Association (S2SA) Safety & Health Week 2026 Contest!
Safety and Health Week, held annually during the first week of May (4th – 9th), emphasizes the importance of preventing injuries and illnesses in the workplace, at home, and in the community.
This year, from now to May 6th, we invite you to participate in our inaugural contest to raise awareness and encourage proactive safety measures. The contest encourages you and your team to identify hazards in various environments and submit your entry using photos, videos, or written submissions.
We encourage you to use this contest as an opportunity to enhance safety awareness and teamwork.

Submission Highlight: Sandra’s submission shared simple and practical reminders around slips, trips, and falls, including keeping floors clear, securing cords and cables, wearing proper footwear, and reporting hazards right away.

Submission Highlight: Sukhmanpreet’s submission highlighted the importance of connection, trust, teamwork, and small daily actions in supporting psychological wellness at work.

Contest Categories
Choose ONE category below to participate.
1. Share Your Story – Psychological Wellness
Write a short story or reflection about psychological health and safety. You may write about:
• A strategy that helps you or your team manage stress
• A time you felt supported at work
• Something your workplace does to support mental health
• A mental health resource you find helpful and why
2. Ergonomics Workspace Glow Up
• Submit before and after photos of a workstation improvement.
• Include a short note explaining what was changed and how it helps.
3. Safety Talk Showdown
Record a short video (30 to 60 seconds) about psychological health and safety.
For example:
• How your team manages stress
• How you support each other at work
• Why psychological safety is important in your workplace
4. Safety Hack of the Week (Photos, Video, or Write-Up)
Share a simple safety tip that helps keep people safe at work.
This could be:
• A safety reminder
• A labeling idea
• Stretch or micro-break ideas
• A mental health tip
How to Enter
• Choose one contest category.
• Take a photo, record a short video, or write a short submission.
• Include your company name and contact person with your submission.
• Submit your entry by May 6, 2026.

Contest Criteria and Rules
• Participants must be S2SA members.
• Only one entry per company per category.
• Entries may be shared by S2SA for awareness and promotional purposes with company approval.
• Submissions should relate to workplace safety, health, or psychological safety.
• The S2SA Safety Advisors Team will review and judge all entries.
• Entries will be judged based on creativity, relevance, and impact.
