S2SA operates throughout Manitoba and is located on the traditional territory of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, Dene and Metis people. Our primary office is located on Treaty 1 Territory and the National Homeland of the Red River Métis. Our work extends throughout Treaties 2, 3, 4, and 5. We acknowledge that Winnipeg’s water is sourced from Shoal Lake 40 First Nation.

We respect the Treaties made on these territories. We dedicate ourselves to move forward with Indigenous communities in a spirit of reconciliation and collaboration to make Manitoba an inclusive and safe place for everyone who lives here.
