Training
We provide industry-specific workplace safety and health training to sales and service employers in Manitoba.
Our training is designed to help make Manitoba sales and service workplaces safer and healthier while also assisting employers to meet their legal and regulatory requirements.
Our training can be delivered in-person, at our location or yours. We also provide virtual (live, instructor-led, on Zoom) training sessions and eLearning courses.
Public Training Sessions
We offer a full schedule of public training sessions. These include in-person sessions at our location and virtual (live, instructor-led) sessions on Zoom. Our Courses
Workplace Safety & Health Committee and Worker Safety & Health Representative (formerly known as Safety for Committees & Representatives – Basic) – half day
Target Audience: WS&H Committee Co-Chairs and Members, Worker S&H Reps (for employers with 19 or less employees), Safety Coordinators and similar roles
Supervisor Safety and Health Roles and Responsibilities (formerly known as Safety for Middle Management) – full day
Target Audience: any leader that has responsibility for any other employees and/or any work sites/work areas
Workplace Incident Investigations (formerly known as Incident Investigation & Reporting) – full day
Target Audience: WS&H Committee Co-Chairs and Members, Worker S&H Reps, Safety Coordinators and similar roles, Supervisors and similar roles
Hazard Identification and Risk Control (formerly known as Safety for Committees & Representatives – Advanced) – half day
Target Audience: WS&H Committee Co-Chairs and Members, Worker S&H Reps, Safety Coordinators and similar roles, Supervisors and similar roles
Safety for Senior Management – half day
Target Audience: Senior Leaders (owners, executives, directors)
Safety Culture – half day
Target Audience: anyone with an interest in or role related to workplace safety and health
Maintenance Auditor – two full days
Target Audience: employees who have been assigned by their employer to conduct SAFE Work Certified Maintenance Audits

S2SA reserves the right to charge a $75.00 fee for registered training participants that do not attend their training session and have not alerted us in advance.
