The Importance of your Mental Health During the Covid 19 Pandemic
Description +Open to everyone – supervisors, front-line workers, remote workers and administrative staff who are interested in learning how to identify and address potential “psychosocial” hazards during these unprecedented times.
Objective: This course presents workplace health and safety in a manner that incorporates psychological well-being.
By the end of this interactive session participants will be able to:
• Explain why protecting mental health matters in the workplace and why it is a shared responsibility
• Describe ‘workplace psychosocial factors’ and how they impact every level of an organization
• Build on group/organizational strategies that promote psychological support and compassion in the workplace
• Identify personal strategies that will help to reframe, rethink and react constructively during periods of crisis and sudden change

A Hazard is a Hazard: Workplace Psychological Health and Safety
Description +Workplace health and safety includes identifying and addressing hazards that can cause mental injury. Learn more about the CSA National Standard for Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace, raise your awareness of workplace mental health concerns, identify common psychological hazards and learn how to roll psychological considerations into your health and safety program.
This course is offered monthly (beginning Feb 13, 2020) by the Canadian Mental Health Association Manitoba and Winnipeg (CMHA). $150 plus tax.
